All Meantime newsMeantime redesign The Will Writing Company website
Meantime has revamped the Will Writing Company’s website to bring it up to date and in line with the business systems we created for them last year.
The new and improved site was specifically designed to be attractive, easy-to-use and to demonstrate the credibility the company has obtained as the UK's leading firm of specialist will writers over 21 years. The Will Writing Company is compliant with the IPW Code of Practice and they needed a website to reflect that.
We felt it was important to maintain The Will Writing Company’s brand identity as they are so well established. Subtle changes using a modern font and fresh colours allowed us to keep the brand identity while bringing the logo up to date.
This phase of the rebuild involved keeping the existing content; phase two will see the content being rewritten. The content has been rearranged to make it easier for users to find the information they need. We added quick links to the enquiry forms and services. The phone number has been added in the header and the address in the footer so the contact details are easily accessed. The new site has both an agent log in and a client log in. The login areas are conveniently placed on the homepage with tabbed links so the user can move easily between the two. We have made good use of the customer testimonials which appear on each page with a different testimonial showing each time the page is refreshed.
The site makes use of new CSS3 standards (the latest version of the cascading style sheets which most websites are built with), but for browsers that don’t support these standards (the ones that do Internet Explorer 9, Safari 5, FireFox and Google Chrome), the site regresses to older CSS2 standards to keep it functional.
The SEO friendly features on the site include accessibility links and search-engine friendly URLs, to ensure that the Will Writing Company features among the top of Google’s rankings for its favoured search terms.
Because everything we build is bespoke, you might not see exactly what you need. If that’s the case please get in touch. We'd be happy to discuss how we can help you to take the first step to cutting costs and growing beyond all expectations.
